Job Requirements:        

Fluent English is a requirement – Interviews will be conducted in English

Minimum of 4 years experiences in logistic / Security with an NGO, or private organisation in security management

Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant experience, previous NGO experience is an advantage.

Excellent reporting skills including computer skills in Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel.

Have good command over project management and implementation skills, strong decision making, judgment and motivational skills.

Ability to learn new systems quickly and effectively.

Organized and flexible, ability to respond to changing priorities.

Ability to work independently on own initiative, assess risk and make plans accordingly.

Fluency in Arabic and good in Kurdish language skills (spoken and written).

Flexible and creative approach with a proven ability to resolve issues and identify solutions.

Demonstrable high level of interpersonal skills and patience.

Excellent organizational skills and accuracy.

Impartiality, objectivity and confidentiality.

Ability to travel locally and regionally, if necessary

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Area Coordinator, the Security/safety, liaison and fleet officer is responsible for supporting the CSM, the Admin Manager and AC in the overall security management of ACTED programs, staff and properties. He also assists the CSM / AC in liaising with local authorities in and off camp to ensure ACTED programs and operations are running smoothly.

Under the supervision of the AC and Security Manager he is responsible for Conduct security assessments of ACTED program implementation points to be updated at least one day before any program activity; He/she Assists the CSM to provide further security measurements for program implementation points and coordinate with police and gendarmerie to provide security back up in case of any request; Identify an exit route for all distribution point, arrange transportation and safety measurements to evacuate staff – in case the distribution (or any other conducted activity) turn to violence; He coordinates with all the local authorities on the ground to ensure ACTED is able to implement its activities safely
