Education and experience:
– Bachelor degree in a related area, agriculture, management, international development.
Experience required
– Minimum of 1-2 years of working experience in NGOs or management.
– Strong supervisory skills, planning, interpersonal and communication skills
– Ability to manage stress, multi – task and take strong decisions for a team.
– Good understanding of current situation/on-going crisis in North East Syria.
– Competency in writing progress reports; familiarity with principles and practice of monitoring and evaluation
– Prior experience in NGO work is a strong asset.

– Excellent written and spoken English and Arabic. Good knowledge in Kurdish is a strong asset
Coordination:
– Actively coordinate with all internal depatments
– Beign proactive in coordination with external actors and NGOs
– Coordinate with local authorities when needed
JOB CONDITIONS
– Remuneration: according to salary grid. Minimum 1087USD/month (+ allowances).
– Trvale will be expected, movement to field locations for approximately 30% of the time.
– Starting date: 1st of August 2018.
– Duration / Type of contract: 6 months (renewable upon Funding and performances).
Job Description:
- Project Management
Create a clear project implementation plan (annual, 3 month) with support from the Project Manager (PM) – including the targets and matching activity schedule of consortium partners.
Train teams on tools for project implementation (e.g. DIP- detailed implementation plan) to be shared with all Managers and Coordinators.
Identify technical needs of the Inclusive livelihood field teams and ensure they are well supported.
Allocate tasks weekly to be accomplished by field team matching consortium members need the Organization team support.
Coordinate with the Inclusive livelihood coordinator to ensure adequate weekly technical support to field staff.
Communicate regularly with consortium members on changes in areas and activities teams are supporting.
Ensure the accurate use of project tools with support from the DBO.
Ensure referral mechanisms within the Organization projects (PSS, Rehab, MRE) are followed for North East hub.
Complete monitoring field visits to partners’ working areas and ensure the monitoring at field level.
Fill M&E tools for North East hub, then summarize and report to PM and ILM. Discuss ideas and recommendations for adjustments to targets/work.
Participate in project launch plan, midterm and final evaluations.
Actively coordinate with all internal departments to ensure the good implementation of the project.
Produce (or contribute to) internal reporting with NES hub (weekly, monthly, and/or upon request from PM)
Contribute to donor reports.
Help review budget allocation/availability to various activities, and specifically for accessility and aid fabrication in close discussion with ILW.
- HR Management
Organize and schedule the teams’ activities and ensure an accurate and timely follow up of achievement per staff.
Participate in staff recruitment under guidance from the Project Manager.

Prepare induction process for new staff and ensure appropriate training/support is provided in coordination with Inclusive livelihood coordinator.
Conduct staff appraisals; manage leaves as well as other HR issues that may arise.
Identify individual needs and formalize capacity building plans for each team member which can be closely monitored, in coordination with Inclusive livelihood coordinator.
Ensure regular (weekly) supervision with the teams to discuss problems, developments and general project information needed for accurate planning and implementation.
- Capitalization
Archive and share all necessary project tools and documents adapted to North East hub with PM and IM/IC.
Organize regular feedback sessions with consortium members to ensure the smooth implementation of the Organization’s role.
- Representation
Communicate with Officers of consortium partners in North East Hub, in close coordination with the PM.
Represent the Organization within the consortium when authorized.
Represent the Organization in coordination mechanisms in Al-Hassakeh, as needed.
Represent the Organization with the HAO and manage for any authorization needed for project activities in close link with Context manager, PM and FC.
- Security
Respect the confidentiality of information and data received.
Sharing information with external actors should follow the SRC confidentiality note.
Respect and promote the Organization policies and report to the line manager any non-respect of these policies amongst the teams or partners.
Report any incident or act that causes any harm to beneficiary or to others.
Ensure that the team members know and follow the security procedures, in collaboration with the Field coordinator;
Inform the PM and Field Coordinator of any security issues faced on the field by the team and keep a clear report on incidents and location of incidents;
Follow developments and changes in security status in the field so Project Manager can make informed decisions.
- Translation
Assist the PM in translating when meeting operational staff or external actors;
Ensure the translation of necessary tools for the NES operations;
Ensure an effective translation oral and or written of project documents/meetings
