متطلبات العمل:

  • Experience of working for a humanitarian or development organization;
  • Familiarity with the humanitarian context in North East Syria.
  • Experience with monitoring and evaluation approaches for food security, livelihoods, shelter, Education and WASH sectors.
  • Experience with M&E methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative data collection;
  • Experience of working in complex and volatile contexts.
  • Experience of managing staff.
  • Experience in data collection software;
  • Strong critical analysis and problem solving skills; and
  • Fluent English and Arabic

 

NB:

  • Interviews will be conducted in English only;

الوصف الوظيفي:

  • Planning, coordination and supervision of the M&E activities implemented in North East Syria, together with the MEAL Manager, in line with CVT’s strategy and mission goals;
  • Responsible for Monitoring and Evaluation within specific projects, its progress, and planning as well as timely achievement of the project’s milestones;
  • Collecting feedback from field teams in order to feed into lessons learned for data collection methodologies and programmatic design;
  • Organizing, assessing and analyzing the situation on the ground with aim to design most appropriate data collection tools and approaches;
  • Providing technical support and deliver training to the M&E team;
  • Management of the M&E officers and Database officers;
  • Ensuring compliance with donors and CVT rules;
  • Travel frequently between CVT’s offices across North East Syria, including locations in Kobane, Raqqa and Manbij.

Other responsibilities:

  • Other tasks assigned by employee’s Line Manager corresponding to actual needs of the department.
  • Substitute relevant colleagues (fully or partially) during their absence when assigned by Line Manager.
  • Understand and adhere to the mission’s National Staff Handbook, CvT Code of Conduct, CvT Key Policies and relevant guidelines.
