متطلبات العمل:

  • University degree in psychology or social sciences.
  • Prior practical experience in direct provision of psychological support to adults and/or children.
  • Prior experience delivering trainings to staff on the topics of gender-based violence prevention and psychological first aid.
  • Fluency in Arabic and proficiency in written and verbal English.
  • Excellent nonviolent communication, organization and diplomacy skills.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and values.
  • Commitment to Concern equal opportunity and gender practices.
  • Good team member.
  • Ability to maintain the highest degree of discretion.

 

الوصف الوظيفي:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a staff health and welfare strategy.
  • Provide direct provision of psychosocial support to Concern staff in both individual and group settings, as required.
  • Identify, assess, document and analyse the evolving needs of psychosocial support among Concern staff. From there, advise and participate in the development of a plan of action to respond to the identified needs of the staff.
  • Build general staff knowledge and skills on self care and peer support systems with a view to improving general wellbeing, including staying psychologically fit and healthy.
  • Refer staff, as necessary to specialised services and be responsible for designing and implementing a system facilitating access to mental health care, counselling or any other services for staff with specific needs and following up on staff issues. Ensure that filing of cases is confidential and rigorously organized to ensure proper follow up.
  • Conduct training with Human Resources Departments and other colleagues on staff welfare and fostering an inclusive and well-being workplace for all staff members across all locations.
  • Conduct staff surveys, analyse survey results and provide Management with data on main issues and /or challenges encountered by staff, and take necessary actions to find solutions and monitor progress.
  • Provide training for supervisors on understanding issues related to mental health in the workplace, focused on skills for enhancing staff engagement, managing workload and eliminating/mitigating sources of distress that can affect mental health and wellbeing, and including an understanding of the organization’s duty of care in this regard.
  • Raise awareness among staff about mental health at work, including the negative consequences of incivility, harassment and abuse
