متطلبات العمل:

Essential:

 College qualification or equivalent experience  Minimum 1 year professional experience in education work, preferably in NGOs .

 Professional experience in in working with vulnerable families, caregivers, communities and individuals.

 Proven ability to work as part of a team

 Preferably experience in capacity building, coordinating activities, developing plans and drafting reports.

 Proven experience in community and/or youth mobilization, advocacy and community awareness-raising activities.

 Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, and capacity to maintain relations with community leaders, community members, children and youth.

 Understanding of the situation of children and young adults (girls and boys) in rural and urban communities.

 Excellent understanding of the complexity of local governance structures in NE Syria and other local stakeholders

 Strong organizational skills.

 Ability to travel independently, including to rural communities and willingness to change work practices and hours and spend time in the field, sometimes in difficult conditions and with limited resources.

 Strong Kurdish/Arabic skills, written and spoken. Good English skills, written and spoken

 Strong computer skills (MS Office, including Outlook for email).

 Commitment to and understanding of The organization ’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches

Desirable  Experience or knowledge of working and living in the specific field office.  Professional experience in education work.

 Strong Kurdish/Arabic skills, written and spoken. Good English skills, written and spoken

 Strong computer skills (MS Office, including Outlook for email).

الوصف الوظيفي:

Program planning, design and implementation

 With support from the Area Coordinator, implement and monitor quarterly, monthly and weekly activity plans to achieve expected results.

 Ensure that all planned activities are implemented on time, to quality measures and within budget as per the work plans. Where challenges arise, ensure that these are flagged early, communicated to the Area Coordinator.

 Lead procurement and administrative documents required for program implementation.

 Plan and organize capacity building training workshops for facilitators and partners.

 Ensure that project activities are consistent with The organization ’s programming principles and approaches, draw on relevant best practices and lessons learned, enable children to attain their rights and are compliant with donor regulations.

Reporting: Contribute to the preparation of weekly, monthly, progress and other reports, as required

Monitoring, evaluation and learning

 Participate in needs assessments

 Collect and compile project data based on the standard formats and submit weekly reports capturing achievements.

 Participate in team reviews of results and program progress and/or project evaluation when and as requested

 Share program lessons learned internally with other sectors/departments

Program integration

 Ensure integration of child protection, non-formal education and other interventions, if any, in target communities by participating in joint assessment, joint programme planning meetings, joint activities, and monitoring and evaluation including sharing of lessons learned

 Ensure consistent messages/communications from SC to target communities

Representation and coordination

 Participate in stakeholder analysis for the non-formal education, child protection and other interventions, if any, at community/camp level to develop and review local stakeholders mapping

 Take the lead in community mobilization to establish/support Temporary Learning Space (TLS). This includes discussions with and engaging all stakeholders in the communities

 Liaise and coordinate with local authorities and stakeholders and camp management to familiarize them with the projects and its objectives and engage them in the development of work/implementation plans.

 Seek required approvals to ensure acceptance and continuation of the orginzation non formal education activities.

General

 In agreement with the Area Coordinator, perform other required duties within reason (in line with your skills and experience)

 Comply with The organization policies and practice with respect to child protection, code of conduct, health and safety, equal opportunities and other relevant policies and procedures.
