Medicine or paramedical degree essential. Specialization or training in tropical disease desirable
Essential working experience in developing countries.
Experience with international NGO is a valuable asset
Arabic and/or Kurdish essential, English is essential

Participating actively in reflections and discussions on the evolution of the programs in the mission and to the improvement of overall performance, adapting it to the changing reality and context.
Participating in the collection of medical information (meetings, reports, articles, etc.) and data (epidemiological data, statistics, etc.) .Should provide regular reports to the medical Coordinator on the health situation in the area of operations and other emergencies in other areas.
Participate in medical data analysis , sitreps and annual reporting
Participate in exploratory mission in collaboration with Medical Coordinator
Ensure that periodical quality of care evaluations are done in the structures
Supporting project development by answering medical questions from the field, participating in briefings and debriefings of medical staff and replacing temporarily a member of the field team when necessary.
In support of the medical coordinator, representing the organization in meetings or with different stakeholders. Assisting the Medical Coordinator in the stakeholder mapping (organigram of MoH, etc.)
Following-up the referral system with the field (identify the facilities, organize the transport of patients, follow-up on treatment, etc.)
In the absence of a Mission pharmacy manager, organizing and managing the central pharmacy in the Mission.
Ensuring that all staff using medical devices are qualified and trained. Ensuring cleaning and minor maintenance tasks are performed according to the protocols.
Carrying out medical follow-up of all national and international staff in application of staff health policies, supervising together with the administrator the medical expenses associated, in order to protect personnel’s health state while keeping close control to the resources required. To carry out regular assessment in the health structures that provide medical care to our staffs to ascertain their level of care.
On the request of the Medical Coordinator, carrying out extra tasks.
