- Essential:
- Education to MSc/MA/MEng level in a relevant subject or equivalent field experience
- At least 1 year experience of similar level capacity in private, government or humanitarian sector.
- Previous experience of managing a team
- Previous experience of project management, including multi sector programmes
- Budget management experience including institutional donors
- Security management experience in insecure environments
- Field level representation with key stakeholders and co-ordination with other NGOs/UN
- Ability to write clear and well-argued reports.
- A high level of written and spoken English
- Preffered
- Previous first phase emergency response experience is a highly preffered.
Job Description:
Setting up operational base
– In coordination with Field Manage-Amuda, Field Coordinator will take the lead on setting up field office and accomedation for Tel abiad, Kobane and any new areas during expansion of program.
– Coordinate for security assessment for new premices.
– Coordinate with Admin and Logistic team to ensure all administrative and logistical arrangments are timely carries out.
Logistrical/ HR/administrative and financial support
– S/he oversees the logistical, administrative and financial components of the base office/s for the purpose of programme implementation, and ensures compliance with the relevant procedures and good practices.
– Identify logistical, administrative and finanacial support needed for the base office/s and timely coordinate with FM to ensure required support is provided.
Safety and security
– Closely work with Security team in Amuda and FM to develop standard operating procedures (SoPs) for field office operations.
– Organise weekly/and or need based security briefing for all staff.
– Oversee monitoring of day to security incidents by Safety and Security staff in base office.
Program support
– Carry out regular meetings with program Coordinators to identify areas for improving support services for programs.
– Coordinate with Program team to provide regular update for external forums: Local authority coordination meeting, INGO Coordination meetings etc.
