Job Requirements:        

Minimum of two years’ work experience in protection programming.

 Experience working in insecure environments.

 Fluent in Arabic (written and spoken).

 English and other local languages (Assyrian / Kurdish) would be an asset.

 Familiarity with humanitarian and protection related technical guidelines and standards, including Minimum Standards for Prevention and Response to Gender Based Violence in Emergencies (GBViE), Child Protection Minimum Standards (CPiE), IASC guidelines, and Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA).

 Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and with limited supervision.

 Computer literacy skills (Microsoft Office suit).

 Commitment, patience, and resilience.

 Able to cope with traumatic situations.

 Excellent communication and leadership skills

 Organizational and time-management skills

 Decision-making skills

 Availability and willingness to travel in North East Syria.

Job Description:

Lead mobile teams day by day and map the local services for referral pathway.

 Support the Mobile Protection Officer in developing the weekly and monthly schedules for his/her mobile team, including locations and activities.

 Ensure safe access for the mobile team for the targeted locations.

 Implement daily activities of the team in line with the work plans developed with Protection Officer.

 Coordinate with other service providers in the area to identify needs of the population gaps in services.

 Maintain up-to-date information about existing services.

 Manage the identification and referral of high priority protection cases, through direct support or delegation to team members as appropriate.

 Ensure mobile activities run according to minimum standards and best practices and are appropriate for the context.

 Conduct community engagement with parents, women and children to encourage children to attend activities.

 Draft and submit weekly reports on mobile team activity and coordination activities and needs to Protection Officer.

 Maintain accurate records of activities and beneficiary attendance lists.

 Ensure a safe working environment for all people involved in project implementation and maintain the highest standards of behavior when working with children, women and families.

 Support program-related administration for human resources, procurement, and logistics for the outreach team in partnership with the Protection Officer, including tracking of attendance, inventory of materials, and maintaining weekly staff movement plan.

 Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.

 Discover training needs and provide coaching.

 Encourage and manage mobile team smoothly.

 Set clear team goals.

 Delegate tasks and set deadlines.

 Monitor team performance and report on metrics.

 Motivate team members.

 Conduct program assessments and determination of new program space locations, needs, and activities.

 All other duties as assigned by supervisor.
