To be successful in this role you must have:
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy, Social Work, Social Sciences, or any relevant field.
- At least 2 years’ experience in the field in humanitarian context or with a NGO.
- Experience in training/teaching/coaching to adults
- Previous experience working with people disabilities or in disability inclusion desirable
- Previous experience with HI is an asset
- Strong communication and reporting skills
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work under high pressure
- Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
- Ability and openness to learn about different topics
- English and Arabic mandatory (oral and written)
- Good knowledge of MS Office
The organization will offer the successful applicant a Six months’ contract, renewable dependent on both funding and performance.

About the job
Under the responsibility of the Projects Manager and in close collaboration with Inclusive Livelihood and Inclusion Technical Coordinators and in direct support of field team, the Inclusion Technical Advisor (ITA) will be responsible of overseeing and ensuring a quality implementation of Inclusive Livelihood and Inclusive Health projects as well as other mainstreaming Inclusion in the Organization’s activities.
The Inclusion Technical Advisor must keep all the data confidential, and share it only with the designated persons

Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure Technical Quality of the Inclusive Livelihood and Health Projects
Develop and implement the necessary trainings and support teams of partners to ensure timely and quality project implementation to meet inclusion objectives and targets;
Work together with the Organization’s staff and with partner organisation staff to support and implement trainings related specifically to GAD;
For the inclusive livelihood activities, review case management methods with the field teams; work and communicate with the inclusive livelihood technical coordinator to identify training and support needs in this area;
Support Inclusive Health/Livelihoods’ teams to ensure quality project implementation (action plans, technical tools etc.);
Contribute and support assessment of barriers and facilitators, for access of health and livelihood services, for the most vulnerable persons at risk of exclusion;
Support planning and implementation of surveys to identify persons with disabilities;
Support the partners’ staff in the administration of different assessments, activities and fabrication/purchase of adapted tools (when relevant) by providing coaching, regular follow up and recommendations;
Coordinate regularly to problem-solve recurrent issues and keep information flowing and update the project manager regularly;
Continuously provide updates, summary and reporting of the field activities to the PM and other relevant personnel. Putting forward ideas and recommendations for improvements;
Ensure referral mechanisms within the Organization’s projects (PSS, Rehab and Livelihoods) are put in place (with leadership from coordination) and followed;
Support Inclusive Health/Livelihood teams by answering questions/addressing training needs of partners and having regular meetings for support;
For the inclusive livelihood activities, with the support of the log team, assist in validating local welder/carpenter(s) chosen by the field team to fabricate assistive livelihood aids;
Monitor the overall implementation of the action plans of partners;
Advocate for GAD inclusion amongst partners and remain open and available to provide solutions to technical problems in the field;
Liaise with MEAL team in filling any relevant monitoring and evaluation tools when applicable; and constantly share feedback and/or complaints received from the field with the PM;
Participate in project launch plan, midterm and final evaluations when relevant;
- Reporting and Representation
Contribute to the monthly Information sheet (MIS) and to project reports as needed;
Represent the Organization in coordination mechanisms and meetings (including meeting with livelihood consortium partners) as requested;
Communicate with Inclusive Partners as requested;
Ensure that confidentially of data as per guidelines is respected;
- Team Management
Participate in partners’ inclusion staff recruitment, in coordination with PM and the technical referent when applicable;
Prepare induction process for new staff, participate on identifying the trainings that can be offered in the frame of the capacity building plan and ensure appropriate training/support is provided;
Participate to staff evaluation when relevant;
Archive and share all necessary tools and documents adapted to NES hub with Inclusive Livelihood/Inclusion Coordinator and PM (others if relevant);
Ensure regular collection of stories/data on lessons learned on inclusive health/livelihood projects and sharing with PM;
Observe at all times strict commitment to the Organization’s Security & Safety regulations as per procedures in place at mission level;
Support information internal dissemination to relevant focal persons at mission level aiming at reinforcing security and safety of the Organization’s staff and assets;
