متطلبات العمل:
A Bachelor degree in Agriculture Engineering, or other relevant course, or a combination of education and experience related to this position
At least 4 years of experience working in food security and/or livelihoods projects, of which at least 2 years working with INGOs preferable
Minimum 2 years’ experience in supervising staff.
Previous experience in capacity assessments, planning and delivering trainings.
Previous experience developing and implementing work plans.
Experience of management of projects to deadlines
Practical experience with planning and execution of relevant projects
Past work with international donor funded programs preferred
Ability to work independently under pressure
willingness to travel frequently to project locations
Analytical and reporting skills
Good negotiation and problem solving skills.
Ability to solve problems in the field with partners, local committees and beneficiaries
Excellent written and verbal skills in English and Arabic is required
Excellent skills in Microsoft Office software programs
الوصف الوظيفي:
The FSL Coordinator will be part of the North East Syria team based in Derik, and will be working with the Program Manager to plan, manage, oversee and monitor the implementation of program activities in NES (Hassakeh, Ar-Raqqa, Deir-ez-Zor).
The FSL Coordinator will support the management of projects, program planning, procurement and the oversight of program implementation. In addition, he/she will assist in the capacity building of field teams, will actively monitor program activities ensuring quality of service, and will engage with local authorities, other organizations, and local communities on a regular basis.
Management
Support the project manager by providing assistance in all aspects of project cycle management – design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation
Supervise the implementation of project activities and follow-up.
Lead the Food Security/Livelihoods team who are based in Tel Abyad and Derik
Ensure quality control and assurance of project activities
Ensure compliance with donor requirements on safety measures and environmental assessment.
Supply technical specifications for needed equipment
Conduct frequent field visits to check progress in the field, and to maintain a rapport with beneficiaries, implementing partners and local authorities
Manage the performance of staff under his/her supervision, including working with the staff members to set and monitor objectives and work plans, and provide constructive feedback on an on-going and scheduled basis
Monitoring
Collect data and information about the progress of the project’s inputs, outputs and indicators, and updates the databases
Write field reports on the implementation of the activities that he/she is responsible for, and submitting them to the supervisor
Submit regular reports to supervisor, daily, weekly and monthly updates, and work closely with the supervisor and staff to ensure that project results and reports are properly captured and documented.
Ensure all projects documentation is prepared and archived properly
Coordination & Communication
Liaise closely with other humanitarian actors, including active participation in sectoral working groups and through bilateral meetings
Ensure suitable representation of CHF through close coordination and strategic liaison/relationships with the local authorities, NGOs, implementing partners and other key stakeholders
Work with other departments to ensure that project activities are being delivered in a timely manner
Participation in seminars and meetings.
Very close coordination with the M&E team to ensure that donor requirements for tracking and reporting are being met
Perform other duties and any relevant tasks assigned by the supervisor.
