متطلبات العمل:

Education:

  • University Degree in International Development, Business Management or a related field
  • Postgraduate degree an advantage but not required

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years pprevious experience in project management in related sectors/programs
  • Previous experience in or working with the private sector

Demonstrated Skills and Competencies:

  • Knowledge of private sector situation/networks in Syria
  • Public speaking and representation skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Strong project planning and strategic design skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (specifically Word and Excel) and web based applications

Language Skills:

  • Fluent in oral and written English & Arabic

 

الوصف الوظيفي:

  • Design assessments to determine challenges, gaps and support needs of local vendors and SMEs
  • Carry out assessments and analyze data to determine specific interventions that would help business better manage day to day needs and support overall growth
  • Identify other stakeholders/organizations/private sector actors within Syria that may be able to directly implement/contribute to and support the development of services to SMEs
  • Work with ERD Coordinator, Livelihoods Manager and ERD Technical Advisor to design specific interventions to support SMEs (such as access to finance, training and skills, tools and resources, linkages to markets and wholesalers) inclusive of potential mobile/ICT support services
  • Work with the Livelihoods manager , MEAL department to develop monitoring and evaluation tools to track effectiveness of support provided
  • Adjust support models based on feedback from SMEs and monitoring information
  • Ensure that field activities are implemented in accordance to the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) and other IRC policies.
  • Ensure that SME related activities are meeting target indicators in relation to approved milestones and of the desired quality to achieve desired goal/impact.
  • Support the Livelihoods Manager in developing detailed activity plans in line with program objectives, ensuring that those plans are implemented and any expected delays and / or modifications are communicated and raised in a timely manner with the ERD Coordinator.
