الوصف الوظيفي:

Under the supervision of the Livelihoods Officer, the Livelihood Assistant’s responsibilities include:

  1. a) General responsibilities:
  2. Supports the Livelihoods Officer in running the day-to-day implementation of Livelihoods activities in Amuda,
  3. Works with the local authorities to understand the market and systems within which the targeting and implementation of the livelihood aspects of projects will be conducted.
  4. Participates to and support technical assessments.
  5. Supports the Livelihoods Officer on the activities implementations and field visits.
  6. Compiles and submits any relevant paperwork (e.g. evaluations, Completion documentation, photos) to the Livelihoods Officer at the end of each day or as described by line manager.
  7. b) Reporting
  8. Collects photos of program implementation and ensure that donor visibility is respected;
  9. Assists in the identification and location of beneficiaries when requested.
  10. Submits activity reports, daily reports to the Livelihoods Officer
  11. c) Technical Tasks
  12. Supports the implementing of livelihoods activities in Syria pertaining to small and medium enterprises, entrepreneurial activities
  13. Supports and/or leads small business training sessions with MSME beneficiaries
  14. Has a clear understanding of the livelihood methodologies regarding the MSME activities to achieve project objectives
  15. Successfully utilize the organization’s standardized activity tools such as assessments questionnaires, focus group discussion, beneficiaries follow up tool, etc. to support the activities and orientate the livelihood strategy
  16. Participates to elaborate deliverables to specification and within timeline.
  17. Provide required information to relevant parties as dictated by the Livelihoods Officer
  18. Participates in identifying best practices and lessons learned.
  19. d) Administration and Other Tasks
  20. Maintain an efficient, organized system of paperwork and reporting for field work
  21. Ensure timely departure and return from the field: this includes leaving to the field with all necessary documents and materials to complete a successful workday.
  22. To perform other duties as requested by the project and country management team.
